This was my 2nd time visiting Tokyo Disney Sea. I feel like I can say I’ve finally mastered this park as I got to go on all the rides I didn’t get to go on last time and I also discovered my favorite ride!

It is currently Tokyo Disneyland’s 30th Anniversary so the park is filled with lots of 30th anniversary items and special decorations have also made their way over to Disney Sea. I previously posted a 3-part post on Disney Sea, but here is an update post based on my latest experience!

I just can’t say enough about how beautiful this park is and how well it’s maintained. I mean it’s the most expensive theme park ever made and you can see why. I think it’s so cute/creative how some people in Japan get so dressed up just to visit the park. Some couples, students, or families really know how to stand out!

The adorable little green aliens are mochi filled with strawberry, chocolate, and cream.

We ate lunch at Yucatan Base Camp Grill and got the Base Camp Set for 1450yen and it was pretty good! Hamburg with cheese, salad, chocolate-chip vanilla moose dessert, and your choice of drink. Theme parks tend to have not-so-good food but I gotta say Tokyo Disneyland really knows what they are doing. The long steamed bun is a “gyoza dog” and it’s a popular snack for 420yen.

As for rides, hands down my favorite ride is “Toy Story Mania”!! This was my first time on this ride as it was built in 2012. Since the fast passes are gone as soon as the park opens, I assumed this ride was popular for kids/families. But No! This is a seriously fun ride even for adults. I kept checking the wait for this ride throughout the day on my smartphone and the wait went up to 240min once… That’s Ridiculous… Next time, my master plan is to get the fast pass for Toy Story right when the park opens, and at least go on this ride twice because once is not enough!

I also watched the “Broadway Musical Theater” for the first time and LOVED it. If you are into musicals, dancing, and Jazz/Big Band music, you will enjoy this 30~40min(?) live performance with your favorite Disney characters. We felt like this show alone was almost worth our entrance ticket of 6200yen… It’s like a solid concert and since I am a huge Broadway musical show fan, this was right up my alley.

Can’t wait to go back again ;)
